We were treated to amazing views from our spacious comfort double room, where the fine sunrise over the ancient stones left us in awe. The very nice breakfast spread featured local dairy products and fresh pastries that fueled our days exploring the historic district. Plus, the unique cave bathroom experience added that special touch.

I cannot say enough how much I enjoyed my stay here. The room was fantastic, the location unbeatable. But, more importantly, I was treated more as a friend than as a guest. I was even invited to a party in someone's home. The family who run this hotel clearly love what they do. An experience I will never forget. Highly recommended!

Breakfasts were very very good.
Truly enjoyed unique comfort double room with GOOD hairdryer, wouldn't mind staying there all day. Its location just a short walk away from Sasso Barisano was marvellous and fascinating.

We stayed for 2 nights in a luxury suite with an amazing view. The room was beautifully decorated, and we enjoyed Prosecco and aperitifs served to us. Perfect location with plenty of nearby restaurants. The breakfast was delicious too!

This is the most wonderful place, with an amazing view over Matera. The rooms are most confortable (great beds) and the manager is a darling !

The bed was a total disaster, sinking like a U shape, definetly not what you expect for the price. The reception was closed when I really needed them, how hard is it to keep someone there? Almost considerd a good review but just couldn't due to that lack of comfort
